Productions and Workshops

Since opening our doors in 2010 Theater Studio has offered Free Productions in the Summer.

Once a year we offer a 3 month free workshop with a Performances on the  last day. These workshops are offered on Sundays.  We recommend  that children ages 7 and over participate. We also welcome teens and adults who wish to perform onstage or help backstage.

For children ages 10 and up, teens and adults. This workshop lasts  7 weeks and at the end will feature a performance. Those interested in  backstage areas are welcomed to attend for free. It is $75 per  actor, and siblings are discounted.

We typically host a Summer Puppet Workshop several times over the summer.

Children and teens ages 8  and up can help out backstage and put on a performance. We require a  minimum of 4 students and no more than 12 students per session. Each  session is $75, siblings are discounted and you must pay on the first  day of class. All supplies are included. 

Please note: There will be hot gluing and light sewing to make the puppet.

We occasionally offer After School Theater Programs, which are 8 weeks  long. At the end of the program, there will be a performance.

Cost is  $30/student, siblings discounted.

This program will  teach basics on acting, theater etiquette while working on reading,  public speaking and social skills. Those who are interested in backstage  areas are welcomed to attend.

We welcome Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or  other Scouting groups, as well as other organizations such as  children's or teens church ministry groups. We will tailor the event  just for your group and will be a private event. 

*Scout  leaders:* We highly recommended that you submit the requirements of the  Theater or Puppet badge(s) in question so we can adequately tailor the  Play & Skits program or the Puppet Workshop. 

Requirements for other  badges designed for community service, carpentry, painting,  makeup/fashion and/or music might be covered during the course of your  event. If you would like to assist in a program open to the public with  backstage or other things, please let us know!

*Please Note:* Your group must have between 4-12 children or teens in order to participate in either Plays & Skits or Puppets program.
